Aylin Kanar
Architect

Born in 1998 in Amasya, Turkey. Native in Turkish, fluent in English, and has a basic command of German. She graduated from Macit Zeren Science High School in 2016 and received her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Kadir Has University in 2021, ranking first in her department.
During and after her studies, she participated in numerous national and international competitions and received several awards. Between 2020 and 2021, she worked at KHORA Office on projects such as Misanthropy: The Istanbul of the Eagle (Pera Museum – Istanbul Unbound) and The Garden of the Worm and the Bird (5th Istanbul Design Biennial).
In 2021, she worked as an architectural editor for five months at Salon Alper Derinboğaz, contributing to the Geospaces book project and the Topos Villa project.
From 2021 to 2025, she worked at Kreatif Architecture, focusing mainly on hotel, residential, and hospital projects. Her project experience includes the Intercontinental Grand Ankara Hotel, Karaköy Marriott Delta Hotel, Dushanbe Sheraton Hotel, Tuzla Fua Emlak Konut Project, and Koç University Hospital in İzmir.
In 2025, she worked for five months at Urbanist Architecture, where she was involved in projects for ministries, universities, and office buildings.
Since 2021, she has been invited as a jury member for various studio courses at Kadir Has University and MEF University, maintaining a strong connection with academia.
Since 2022, she has also been actively involved in music as an electric guitarist, performing with various musical and social solidarity groups.
In July 2025, she joined MUUM as an architect and continues to explore, understand, and create for a better future.
